My name is Sam, and I hold a Bachelor of Elementary Education, majoring in Content Education, as well as a TEFL certificate, which qualifies me to teach English. Since 2018, I’ve been teaching English to adults, teens, and kids in the ESL industry. My evaluators have often described me as a patient and encouraging teacher, even in challenging situations. During my free time, I love spending it alone at home doing the things I love, such as reading and watching the videos of my favorite group. I also do some cleaning while listening to the music. For the books, I love reading something about adventure or something light, such as the Percy Jackson series and Harry Potter. Though some mystery books are also appealing to me, like Sherlock Holmes. As for the movies, I try not to watch sad ones since I easily get affected and would spend so much time thinking about the movie and its other possible endings. I also talk to my friends and family and listen to them when they need me. My approach to teaching is rooted in patience, encouragement, and a deep understanding that every learner is unique. I believe that learning English is not a race but a journey, and it should be approached at a comfortable pace, supported by consistent effort. My teaching philosophy has earned me praise from evaluators, who commend my unwavering positivity and ability to motivate students even in challenging situations.
